Vetterli M1881 Bolt-action rifle made by Waffenfabrik in Bern in 1888.
In good original condition with cleaning rod. Some minor surface oxidation on metal and a few dents in the wood as you would expect for an ex service rifle that is 130 years old.
No license required as this rifle is considered an antique under Section 58(2) of the Firearms Act 1968.
Also included, .41 Swiss (10.4x38) Lee dies, .43 Swiss bullet mould, 50 x Lebel brass and a Valmont firing pin conversion. I was going to convert it and put it on ticket, but haven't got round to it and probably won't. I have made up a dummy round, and the rifle cycles well, and the bore looks lovely should you wish to proceed with that plan.
Looking for £650
Collection in person from West Sussex, or meet somewhere when legal. In the mean time can probably post at extra cost.
