I was quite happy when i saw he did one on the M17s.
Coincidentally it turns out I have the MAS36 he did a report on a number of years back.

It's possible that the IBUS marked receivers are ones built specifically for the civillian market by Edenpine/Bushmaster, whereas those without, are leftovers from the original Australian manufacturer (Armtech) and military trials...just a thought.poll007 wrote: Thanks Sandgroper-Mystery solved. To be fair the only IBUS markings on mine are the stickers on either side- so I imagine many owners may have just removed them.Sandgroper wrote:It's possible that the IBUS marked receivers are ones built specifically for the civillian market by Edenpine/Bushmaster, whereas those without, are leftovers from the original Australian manufacturer (Armtech) and military trials...just a thought.poll007 wrote: Thanks Sandgroper-Mystery solved. I remember falling in love with those the first time I saw them... I did have a chance to buy one a few years ago, but held off for some reason.
It was probably luck though, as an AUG came up for sale shortly afterwards and i bought that instead...

Nice rifle. I fancy buying one as I'll never be able to buy an L98.
Next best thing really, I don't like the AUG.
