A Max's now categorised as expanding ammunition

Richard, it's already stirred up as Devon & Cornwall have classed them as expanding. Clarification has to be sought before some poor bugger ends up in jail for possession of A-maxs.

Mike surely if this went to court Devon and Cornwell would back down,its just another case of firearms depts acting like gods.They did not write the laws they are there to uphold the laws.A-MAX bullets are not classed as expanding they are match bullets.Im surprised BASC have not taken this up.

Indeed, but do you want the hassle, expense, worry of waiting for months for your day in court? I'd rather know now!

Apologies for the late response however the subject you have highlighted has raised considerable discussion at this end and at the moment I am seeking clarification on this matter in conjunction with other Scottish Police Forces so as to ensure consistency of approach.
