It looks like a U.S. shooter to me at a CMP match. Don't think it is a straight pull :)BamBam wrote:Look how fast this straight pull operator can get back behind the sights...

Agree, with the Enbloc and therefore last round clearly in the air, why would he be back on the sights if it was a straight pull......as the gun is now empty?rufrdr wrote:It looks like a U.S. shooter to me at a CMP match. Re: Straight Pull Garand
I have one of those unusual 2 round clips. Note how the one above cannot hold 8 rounds.

Re: Straight Pull Garand
Had one. Would show proud primers across all factory loads. Took it back as out of headspace.Sfwh wrote:I'm hoping to replicate the M1 Ball which I know wasn't the standard by the time the Garand came in but it was always considered more accurate. It is pretty similar to the M72 ball so I don't imagine it will have any issues feeding. I know some people are concerned about over speeding the bolt and bending the op rod but that's obviously not an issue in a straight pull. So hopefully it will work out ok.
I’m told they work well downloaded to original spec ammo.
