Range finder

#1 Post by makarova »

Hi all,
Looking for recommendations regarding range finders, there seems to be a huge price difference when looking at various makes.
From cheap internet ones around £60 up to a few hundred pounds for well know brands.
Just wondering if anyone has experience and has tried the “lower” end of the price bracket.
I know some come with extra gizmos and are they actually useful?

Thanks I’m advance.
Cheers

I spotted a grotty looking Leica Rangemaster LRF 1200 on a well know auction site probably 15-20 years ago and it is still going strong. Highly recommended and all it does is measure distances in yards or metres to 1200. I wrapped some green cloth tape around it and wrote my drops on the top as a reference.
