"Crazy"? Why?

Other than if you are batch testing different loadings. Which is not a caveat of this thread.

With small boxes and hand seated bullets like my .310 Cadet rounds I remove rounds from the middle in no particular order as it makes it easier to pick up the cases.

i usually like to take them out in an order at CAS matches, as that way I can see that I have picked up 10 rounds to load, just as an extra step. but at the range, im less anal, although i do generally start top right, as i find them easier to pick up from that side, but im not fussed if i go across or down.
