Hornady's sales in the U.K. are a mere fraction of sales in the U.S. I very much doubt that we even register with them.
One Cabelas shop probably sells a far larger quantity of Hornady products in a year than the combined sales of all outlets in the U.K.

All markets are a fraction of the US market...it's the biggest market in the world.

They may not bother with the A Max packaging/literature of the stock sent to UK. It may well be USA packaging. In any case, there is a Hornady alternative for target shooting.

Im not trying to be funny,but i fail to see why it was made S5.I mean did the goverment deem FMJ's less lethal or expanding more dangerous? Anyway,surely it would be more safe to use expanding/balistic ammunition on ranges due to less chance of richochet?

I do think that many goverment depts think up these crazy ideas purely to justify their salary.

However, come the Firearms Act re-write, which will happen, I expect to see it drop back to S.1. ACPO even made the suggestion in their submission to the HAC.....
