My Wee Marlin Collection.....

#1 Post by Sim G »

I can't believe no one has included any lever guns in the "Historic" thread, so I thought I'd take a quick pic of my small collection.....

From the top....

.32-20 first year (1894) production Model 1894.
.22 Model '97. 1906 manufacture.
.22 Model 39 Octagon. (1973 only manufacture for 2000 units)
.30-30 Model 336 Octagon. (1973 only manufature for 2000 units)
.32 H&R magnum Cowboy. (The Marlin forum reckons to only just over 700 made)
.44 magnum 1894P. Factory 16" ported barrel.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

No pictures please! My wife loves L/A and she'll compel me to use up more of my slots for them if she sees pictures.

Please Sim, have mercy, don't do it!

Looks like the URL link to the photo wasn't complete, it was just a link to the front page of the photohosting website not the actual picture.

336 in 30/30.

Bought this 1894C 38/357 a year ago. In that time had about 5,000 38 rounds through it. It hasn't failed to feed once. :P
