That was my take on it too, however, I think if someone’s going to write something like this then there cannot be any room for interpretation.The way I read the last part is that FACs should be granted (in the same manner as a SGC) unless the person has a conviction for a violent crime , with an appeal procedure. That's sounds nothing but fair and rational.

The law already allows for individuals with convictions and those who have served a prison sentence not exceeding 3 years, from being granted a certificate. And quite frankly, a three year sentence will generally reflect a fairly serious crime these days!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Graham runs Britain needs guns, and is a mod on armbritain, wants laws to be even more lax than those of the states or switzerland, as far as I beleive he wants no gun control whatsoever
