Old shooter giving up has asked for some help identifying ammo.
First up is a few rounds of MK VII headstamped DA 1927 and 1940 but with a grey bullet colour. Found that the DA is Canadian made but help ID’ing the type of bullet would be great.
Secondly these two rounds. Seem to be around .22 in size but centre fire and very short. Any ideas?
.303 Mk VII and other cartridge identifications

The small cartridge on the left looks like a 297/230 Morris Short

Thanks for the guidance.
Actually appear to be Canadian MK7 ball ammo.
Great shout for the 297/230 Morris short. Looks/measures very similar.
