Favourite Clay Shooting Grounds

#1 Post by Paul-Andrzej »

Currently, our favourite is Sporting Targets in Riseley. Next would be Doveridge followed by John Bidwell's place. Next would be Lakenheath followed by E J Churchill.

These are as about as far as travel cost effective can be.

Not much locally in Hertfordshire.

Not been to Sporting targets in years, is Ian still around?

It was/is without a doubt the finest shooting ground I have ever shot at and the high towers provided hours of fun and frustration.

There are good English Sporting ranges on A48, Top of Crack Hill going towards Cardiff from Bridgend, and one over in Cefn Cribwr Quarry...talk to Phil Ash...a great dealer, international shooter and gentleman!

Treetops 2 mins from M4 J28...is second to none...great atmosphere.

Yes, Ian is still there managing the ground. Does a good job too.
