Re: Recommendations - Head Supply
What does Meh stand for ?.
Re: Recommendations - Head Supply
It has no abbreviation, it’s a bit like shrugging your shoulders in word form.
I’m just looking for recommendations not to get involved in a word war, I’ve taken on board what other people refer to as bullets. :-)

Thank you for educating me I have never come across Meh before. Not trying to get into a word war just trying to steer you on the right track. Stop referring to bullets as heads and you will be fine. Any thing I can do to help or advise you in your new hobby happy to help. Just ask.

Re: Recommendations - Bulllet Supply
I have edited the title of this thread to the correct terminology.
The head is the base of the case not the bullet.
We get a lot of new reloaders here and using the incorrect terminology is irresponsible, it can be at best confusing and at worst downright dangerous.

Re: Recommendations - Bullet Supply
Boolit was a name coined by Ken Caldwell the originator of the original Cast Boolit forum to differentiate it from other cast bullet forums of the time.
The name which was originally a just a bit of fun seems to have become popular over the years and in some circles is taken to mean a cast bullet.
The difference is in the spelling but no-one least of all Ken thinks it should replace cast bullets, a bullet is a boolit is a bullet, different spelling but no renaming of parts.
