Thank you for your replies. I got the reloading data from the Vihtavuori website, dated 28/5/2017. I thought reducing the powder weight made a lot of sense,
but was worried about how low i could take it. (dreaded bullet stuck in barrel). I will certainly try gradually reducing the powder and i will let you know how i get on.

My reloading data always has a minimum charge.. my understanding was if you do not go below this you will always be sure the bullet will clear the barrel?

Vihtavuori give you a starting (minimum) load of 4.5 gns N340, personally I would start there and work up in 10 round 2/10ths gn increments.
