It would be a crime to put a scope on Sim G's .32 (nice restoration :good: ) - In it's day it was probably the best 'rabbit gun' you could get - and I'll bet that in its history it has been used effectivly at 100 yrds....

...but for black and white DP targets - i've got the best results from an illuminated red cross hair...

The Samuri do an amazing sport/training, where they shoot targets with a short-bow while at full gallop (reins between the teeth 8-) )

...So why not at the Phoenix :?: Can you imagine galloping down Stickledown, shooting 'T&P mounted' - the danger to the horse would be minimal...and you could always put a tin hat on it to be sure.... ;)
Im still thinking about levering the action one handed Terminator 2 style while riding a motorbike.Wonder is Bisley or Barton road would allow this? ;)
Again, Stickledown range at Bisley would be perfect - 1000 yds of road down one side of the range to get your Harley up to speed on....

I think we could really be onto something here.....shall I write to the NRA, or will you...

I hope you're talking about the box and not that monstrosity of a "well used bar of soap" on the top of the gracefull lines of a Marlin! His "shoot the moon" scope is only slightly better......

mutter, mutter, bloody nice Marlin, mutter, mutter, ugly black thing, mutter, mutter.....

:55:
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
