This is seriously pretty - I feel a variation in the air. :)
Cheers! You may struggle to find one like this, was made by IAI sometime in the 90s using a new cast receiver and metal handguard with the remainder GI parts as issued. However, I'm sure you can buy the metal handguard from Brownell and fit to a standard M1 carbine.

It is real fun to shoot! It has a nice tinny ring to it when shooting and charging the bolt and is so easy to shoot. It makes for a nice break between shooting bigger calibre rifles through the day.

k31 is a very good shooter out to 1000 yards with iron sights I am just starting it on cast loads and so far it is looking promising ! The 1889 is not on my fac at the moment (obsolete calibre) so is an unknown although it should shoot reasonably well with cast boolits with some work although not to the k31 standard, I may put it onto my ticket at some future point so I can test it

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
