Hi all those of you that shoot 357 lever action rifles out to 100m how accurate are they ? And what loads do you use to get it there.
Thanks

Not got my load book with me, but shoot .357 mag out to 100yds with 158gr FMJ over Lil'Gun. Had reasonable groups with it, probably enough to hunt deer with at that range but maybe not rabbits. :)

Not spent much time making up a really accurate load, as never had a reason too with the underlever - target only.

Have shot .357 out of my Uberti at 100 yards and was accurate but at 300 yards not so.
Remember, we're all here because we're not all there!

My Marlin averages 1.5" five shot groups with 158gr Hornady XTP HP and H4227.

Edit: @ 100 yards not metres

Your standard 50yd loads will work at 100yds and quite probably at 200.

If you want to know what can be done with a .357 magnum, Mark & Sam's YouTube video is pretty good:

In my experience the heavier the bullet the better. 180 grain+.
