Alliant/Hodgdon Powders - Info on older numbers

Afternoon, just had a call from a fellow shooter, he has a friend who wants to sell some powders he's not used, I can't see anything online about them. They're in Alliant brown sealed packs.

CF33 - Only thing I can find is Reloader33, he did say it may be for 50BMG

2407 - No idea

1292 - No idea

They're probably bulk powders and the designations those used by the manufacturer. They may or may not be non-canister versions of those on sale to the public. At one time it wasn't uncommon to come across lots of these powders that somehow or other got into the supply chain. With many changes in regulation in recent years that make it compulsory to have dated packages, lot numbers etc, this has effectively been outlawed and so the odds are that they're pretty old.

Also, unless you have information on the canister equivalent, you have no loading data. Years ago, there were supplies of a bulk propellant called HRP85, HRP being Hercules (Alliant Powder's predecessor) Rifle Powder and the word was: use IMR-4350 data 'as a guide, although it's not IMR-4350' ..... which if you were sensible you did with great caution given the general vagueness and lack of documentation etc. At the time, Hercules only had the very fast burning Reloder 7 available as a canister powder for handloading although there had been a range of slower burning grades available a few years earlier.

I know that, but as usual with such "what is it worth" threads they deteriorate quickly as the desire to posses throws all conventions to the wind.

The is a forum to discuss shooting and not the Exchange and Mart, we have a for sale section and people should respect that by not turning threads outwith the for sale forum into for sale ones.
