I did not chronograph the ammo as I was just running an experiment to chelp choose ammo for next season. All the ammo tested, fed and extracted flawlessly.
The Privi Match and GGG 62gr were very similar. And of the rest, even the biggest groups were still within what is needed for hitting Fig 11 targets, although the Fiocchi and FN were probably at the limit ?
But, in my rifle, GGG 69gr Match is the clear winner. Add to that, I tested it last - so, my rifle was heating up and mirage from the suppressor was becoming an issue - more than usual, probably as a result of being in the tunnel as opposed to outside ?
So, with that in mind, I am more than happy with the performance of the GGG 69gr Match and that will be my ammo of choice for the CSR winter league.
First impressions of the IOR scope were very good too. In this particular range, the targets are placed at 100m in a pool of light. I wanted a 100 yard test and zero so I moved them. This left them in a slightly dimmer area which I felt was a good test of the optics. It seemed to replicate a late winter afternoon where the light is beginning to fade. The black circles on the targets are 2" felt tip and were clearly visible even with the less than perfect light.
