Target Shooter question

#1 Post by dromia »

Just tried to down load the July issue of Target Shooter as a PDF and all I seem to get is a download as one of those daft readers puku or such like.

How can I down load it just as a PDF file, Vince, anyone?

I hate reading stuff especially lengthy stuff on screen and find those readers a real pain in the rectum. I like to put the issues onto my ebook as a pdf and read anywhere at my leisure with out the eye strain.

Seems Target Shooter is getting off on the technology as I can download it as a whole heap of stuff I know nothing about but the tried and tested plain PDF facility seems to have gone or is well hidden.

If this continues then I'll have to unsubscribe as it is no use to me as it is now, surely it can't be that difficult to have an obvious PDF download option, you can get it if you have a Mac.

Thank you ovenpaa, why doesn't it say that?

Not that I expect you to necessarily know the answer. ;) :D

I dislike the default Flash Player application that TS and similar eZines open with and being a Linux user it would be even more of a PITA to use so I always download a copy. I recently downloaded the iFone application to view TS and that works quite nicely, on an iPad it would probably be very good.

This is one of those situations where I wonder if I would be tempted to buy if it was in paper format.

If you are on a PC there is a download offline version option under 'Options' - top left of screen, once you have it fired up in YUDU.

Thanks Heather but I'm lost now. :? :D

Got it from the misnamed Mac link.

I always prefer paper magazines to electronic, but would I personally pay money for Target Shooter content? Probably not.

Obviously others felt the same as myself as it couldn't wash its face as a proper magazine.

I wonder how many people who download it actually read it as I don't always.

Assuming you like using YUDU, I prefer Pdf format for the eZines like this, they seem more manageable
