I was recently given a couple of boxes of 50 grain Sako Gamehead for the 22-250 so I popped out with them this afternoon to see how they performed over land and was delighted with them. My chosen quarry was Rabbit and after a windage correction I was on them and stayed on them for the most. Being a 250 I anticipated reasonable accuracy at distance nd they exceed my expectations and demonstrated superb expansion.
I am tempted to source a couple of boxes for the shelf in case I ever run short of reloads.

Re: Sako Gamehead
I can only presume you're making a lasagne with them and going for a pre-mince approach to save time in the kitchen?

Re: Sako Gamehead
If they are to be eaten a rimfire at 60-70 yards does the trick, these ones are a bit further out on the other side of a valley and are not for human consumption.
