That statement is completely false. I know Mike Yardley very well and he is passionately committed to the protection of the shooting sports as a whole. He has concerns and he's brave enough to voice them, but he's no elitist - he's a keen airgun shooter, actually - and while I don't agree with everything he says, I have absolutely no doubt about his dedication to the overall shooting cause.
