ahh, glasgow binocular repair by any chance, although they seem to come under viking too.

Best to look for a decent birdwatching scope with 70mm or more object lens. Second hand Opticron or Kowa should come in at less than £200. I bought a Jessops Chinese job for £40 second hand...lenses not brilliant but the 75mm object lens gives enough brilliance for 200 m with the mag kept to 25x....
