I sincerely hope nothing goes wrong with it, as that's when you feel the 'benefit' of being an SGC customer teanews

Its the reason why CCA isn't slated; any issues and Scott pays for a courier to collect the gun from you, the whole process is free, other than any transfer costs incurred when you pick your rifle back up from your RFD but that's not really something he can control. My MARS began 'malfunctioning' (not in a way that prevented it from firing though) so he had it collected from me and it went back to the factory for internal upgrades, repainting and a new barrel. Because the factory can't tell him when my gun will be returned he offered me a brand new one, which should hopefully with be by the end of the week, that's the difference between the companies and why one is slated and the other not.[/quote]

Well that is a fair comment. Bob has been helpful when I and the other owners in the clubs have spoken to him.

As regards the CCA MARS rifle, I might have been interested if they were available in 9mm ........ and didn't look so gawd dammed ugly
(especially with the action open). End of the day, it is good to have variety and some choices left.

Hopefully Bob has finally started taking notice then an improve his after sales service, which in my first hand experience has been pretty dire fingerscrossed

Got to agree with the comments about the MARS. I would get far more use out of a 9mm version and they've got to be one of the, if not THE ugliest MSR's out there!

That must be Durham, North Carolina then surely?

There's a chap on Pigeon Watch, got his FAC 2 days after the FEO visit, couple of bits missing, hold allowance for 800 12 bore cartridges, when he said he asked for slugs for PSG they said "they should be covered" but better send it back in so we can check, just to be sure!.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

800 solid slug would do nicely! :good:

But yeah, I emailed the form to them Tuesday night with a note on to say I was keeping my current FAC until the new one was ready, then got a phone call Thursday morning to say the new one was ready for collection/swapping over at the office :good:

When I asked for 12g Slug (about 12 years ago) they left it off my variation.... when I phoned them up they told me that I had to ask for "12g Solid Slug"... re-submitted the paperwork and they added it.

Whats the quantity most forces on average grant for slug? I only ask as my dad may ask for a section 1 12 bore soon.

So ask for more and see if they say yes?
