The transferring of pistol AK's is a bit complicated due to the fact none are on the CA roster, there is possibly a way to transfer one's made as straight pulls then made semi, but that's unclear. I think someone living in CA can be gifted one, then they end up second hand at an inflated price. On the rifle front I've seen an ambi bullet button that when worked with a numb connected to the mag was nearly as quick as a detachable mag, still 10 rounds, but usable and since sks's only hold 10 it could still work ingood IPSC style shooting.

this is the only way to legally own an self loading ar-15 or any other black rifle in new york state and CA ! and only 10 round mags

i would rather have a straight pull one then that
That's old news, they've been doing that since 2013 and it's a semi. If I lived in NY, I'd rather go this route

And 10 rounds can be coupled together with mag couplers so not that bad.

Also they do have a pump action AR as well.

yes the pump action route shame they are illegal here ! the troy pump action AR looks the business and has the option of a folding stock

Weren't we at one stage talking about an almost pump that had nearly been made by sgc that worked with a foregrip?

To start opening, does anyone have pics and plans? How that for an opening?

You have thumbhole's on CAT A's in New Zealand yes? I believe you have full features on CAT E's but there is more paperwork around them?
Yes, you can own an E Cat (Military-Style Semi-Automatic or MSSA) in NZ. There is an additional layer of vetting and you have to have a reason - like belonging and being active in a Service Rifle shooting association. It also obligates you to an annual review and inspection of your firearms and security. We had ours last Saturday morning. Fortunately the Police have decided to do both mine and my wife's at the same time. Up to now, because we have different last names - we've had twice-yearly inspections.

We do get those stocks here on A Cats too (police lost a court case when they tried to say that those were pistol grips). Doesn't change the fact that they are "fugly".

Would I be correct in saying and I say this as I've TROY PAR's available that a pump action AR or example can have all the bell and whistles and whatever mag capacity on CAT A?
