Re: Review of Ruger 77/357
No need to apologise pistol calibre references get bandied about by many who should know better, that along with other misuse of words like "bullet heads" just goes to confuse the issue rather than giving the clarity we seek.
Personally if I was going to shoot 357 then I would get an underlever or a nice single shot, falling block/break barrel type.
You don't see many B/A rifles of any colour in 357 so that should perhaps tell you something, is there one on offer to you perchance?

We'd consider that to be a loose gathering, ooman, rather than a statistically significant grouping. How does it place ten consecutive shots?mag41uk wrote: A claim of half moa 3 shot group at a 100 yards with factory 357mag.

Ideal thanks again guys for the advice, it does sound like a fun rifle to shoot.
Dromia I haven't been offered one, I would just love to own a decent and little bit different centrefire rifle and I thought the 77/357 was a good bet? I am open to suggestions tho guys so please fire away :-)

If money is no object, take a peeky at

We have the Armalon 9mm and .45 ACP equivalents and can vouch for them being both fun and accurate

I've only had a few shots of somebodies at 25m and I remember it being quite a fun rifle to shoot.
So fun I will probably ask for a variation for one when I eventually get my licence
