Extractor Collar CZ527 in .223 sourcing

#1 Post by Topdogpippin »

Due to the benefits of one of a heavy handed club member I am now looking for a, extractor collar for my CZ527 in .223. It is the 'circlip' type collar which fits in an annular slot in the bolt and the extractor then slides over providing the friction pivot. I have emailed some of the usual suspects but thought to try members on this as well.

Thanks TDP

How,s your Czech!? I bit the bullet (or the bolt) and ordered it from Edgar Brothers in the end, usual only send to an RFD process so I used a contact in Somerset that knows me and has an account and he will mail on to me with a pay on receipt invoice, I should charge the p@@t at the club but it probably wouldn't be politic! I have two five rounds already which if fine for this gun, I normally have FMJ's in one and hollows in the other which works great. Thanks for the link though I will keep it and get a Czech for Dummies book in the meantime :-)) TDP

On the CZ website if you click on the small Czech flag on the top lefthand side of the homepage it opens a dropdown menu of different languages as most sites do.

Aye....all in Ingrish if you choose the correct flag!

MUCH cheaper than the Macclesfield option.

Thanks for the 101 on using web sites, however if you use the drop down menu gfor the contact form you get an error 404 message, page doesn't exist, and I tried ringing them and got the Czech version of, this number doesn't exist, so I don't know whether you have actually manage to order anything from this company but at least the "Macclesfield option" answered the phone, spoke English, and we're very helpful, fortunately the relative price differential doesn't mean much to me, the customer experience does! Czechmate, I guess!

"...this company...." IS the main CZ factory
Website was fine last time I ordered from it
Where do you think the UK importer gets stock from?

You're welcome!
