POF-USA Revolt
Hi all. A quick question from a fellow member of my local club who isn't on this forum.
Does anyone know if there is a UK importer of POF-USA (Patriot Ordnance Factory) ReVolt Light straight pull bolt action firearms?
I originally pointed him to Suffolk Rifle Co, but their website currently looks as if they are only selling firearm spares. I think the ReVolt is far too heavy for CivSR (his intended use), but he's much bigger than I am so I guess it's all relative!
Thanks

Don't know who brought them in, but seen one. It's massive compared to the lightweight CSR competitive AR my mate had built...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

It was Suffolk rifle company but they don't sell rifles anymore only accessories.

What about a personal import? If the dealer/distributor is not doing anything right now, that seems as any option. That or if 223 is what you want, just get a standard straight pull, probably be cheaper than what you see POF's go for.

Tell him to phone Suffolk Rifles as Neal does have access to a few.

Thanks bnz41, I'll pass on the message
Re: POF-USA Revolt
I don't know if you managed to sort one via Neal. If you can't, let me know as I've been going through the import process myself. However with the arse faking out of the pound recently, the cost of importation, including shipping and State Dept fees will mean that it will cost in the vicinity of £2,000 and possibly more. YMMV, but the best price I can find via a broker is RRP.

Re: POF-USA Revolt
POF make 5.56 and .308 versions of the ReVolt. The 5.56 one is about 400g heavier than my Lantac Raven (without scopes fitted to either) so it's not out of the question you could use it in CSR.
The .308 version is a bit too heavy for use standing or kneeling IMO, but probably still a bit lighter compared to a bolt action .308 like a Rem 700, AI etc.

Hi Musclebob
The info was for a fellow member of my club. I passed on the info from bnx41, but not sure if he's
done anything with it. I didn't see him at the club last night so no update on what/where he's at with the
ReVolt.
