Re: Selling ammunition and the law
That is for a box of 155 grain bullets to re load your own. It is not for live ammunition.

In that case then, no, I'm not sure if it is a full bullet or not.
Seeing that all the response are a resounding no I imagine then
it is just me misunderstanding the ad. I can't imagine the Mods
of a site allowing something illegal?

As opposed to an empty bullet jacket for folk with specialist swaging dies??
KNOWING & USING THE CORRECT TERMINOLOGY IS A GOOD IDEA FOR A REASON.
BULLETS = a lead or lead/copper & other metals/materials projectile: they make up part of a loaded round of ammunition when seated in a cartridge case; the part of the round of ammunition that travels down the barrel....
A-Max = a target bullet = NOT covered by Section 5 criteria so no need to be a face-to-face sale
V-Max (by comparison) = ARE a hunting bullet = ARE restricted by Section 5 face-to-face sales rules = CANNOT be posted;
IF the advert had been for V-Max the moderators would probably have pulled it.
Re: Selling ammunition and the law
They have been shipping for the last few years without issues, now they have put their prices up by nearly 100% and stopped shipping expanding, go figure...saddler wrote: Will the courier have Section 5 exemption?
