Night Vision systems

Is anyone here using a night Vision system for vermin control, I am thinking specifically for Rabbit and on a rimfire as an alternative to the good old fashioned lamp method.

I'd recommend looking at NVUK (they have a very active Facebook page)
Lots of people build their own kits as well as a few who sell kits as well

Recently nvuk has released its own official nv kit that simply slips onto you scope and in my opinion it seems to work better than others I've seen (although I've not had a chance to use any in the field only browse at shows or if someone brings one to the club)
Also I might be bias as one of the guys who helped e sign the new kits is a fellow club member

Yes, I do. Vastly increases the crop....

I have a Pulsar 750 with Nightmaster 800 IR. I've put a pictatinny on all 3 of my vermin guns and, using a torque driver, the unit goes back on all of them retaining zero. You just have to note down the x & y's for each gun - and make sure you alter the unit accordingly.

I use a N550 Pulsar 3 or 4 times a week not quite as good as Sharps4065 N750 but you can get the 550 2nd hand from £450. They do need a NM800 ir to get the best from them. I can see fox's and badgers at 300 yards + and tell them apart.

Yes, I have a homemade nv add on that I use with my .17hmr for rabbits. I find it much better as the rabbits round here are very lamp shy. It cost in the region of £200 including a T20 IR torch.
