Well.... I phoned SGC earlier and spoke to Bob for 36 mins (according to my call log).... what a very helpful and enthusiastic man he really is :good: He answered a list of questions I had prepared, gave me lots of good advice regarding the rifles and build options and even spent time chatting about reloading and shooting in general.

Well I did start off the conversation by telling him that I have just sent in a variation for one of these rifles so he knows that I'm not the shooting industries equivalent of an automotive "tyre-kicker"..... add to that the fact that I'm a very nice, approachable person myself green55

Was one of the questions "How effective is it for when the skies darken due to never ending herds of flying pigs?"

Ah the pre-purchase ball-tickling, enjoy it while it lasts!

Or maybe he really has listened and took notice of the critique of his after-sales 'care'/attitude..... :o

FB spoke about reloading? Not for the lever release, surely?!!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

just to restore a bit of balance. This is exactly the same experience I have had from SGC with all my dealings with them. I know others havent, but I have.
