1K signatures short of 150,000 so far ...

I was on the phone with my Czech buddies last night. They are kicking a decent fuss & are pushing the message that, further to the recent obscene bullying & blackmailing of the 4 smaller Eastern European countries by the EU, parts of this proposal diluted among measures to combat arms smuggling, have more to do with individual citizens control than any real public safety concern .

The wide public must realise this goes far beyond gun ownership and that we are slowly sliding into plain & simple arbitrary....

Lets all keep the pressure up on our MEP's and MP's and shooting organisations, the UK bans on Semi Autos and Pistols happened because we as a shooting community failed to reach the critical mass it takes to make politicians sit up and take notice.

We are all in this together and we must act as one to head off this utterly pointless, totally in-effective knee jerk legislation.

If any Full-bore members had doubts about which way to vote in the forth coming IN/OUT referendum, I hope this clarifies things!

Be prepared for the powers that be to say this petition isn't valid. That doesn't mean we shouldn't keep signing it, but be prepared to sign another "official" petition.

I very much doubt it! The last I heard on the subject from the Wicked Witch of all Chrisendom, she was the one who actually proposed it in her first statement after the Paris attacks. I would love to be proven wrong on that and that she has now said "No", but highly, highly unlikely to my mind....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Yep, she announced it on the Monday afterwards, the 16th of November. Can't find a retraction/u-turn/or rethink....
