I posted an application for a "3 off 3 on" variation on June 2nd and received the duly varied FAC in the post today, 8 days including a weekend.......

WELL DONE SURREY POLICE......

Good to see that I'm not the only one having success with variations

The Monday before Phoenix, I sent mine in for a 1 for 1. Then remembered it was the Phoenix. Called the firearms dept who said they'd received it and passed it to the FEO on the Tuesday morning. (This was Tuesday afternoon). I called him as I thought I'd better have my ticket back and send it back to them after the trade show. He tells me he'd approved, signed it off and sent it back to HQ that same morning he received it.....

I'm still waiting! Supposedly in a queue for inputting and printing!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Surrey Police also gave me good service when I got an additional place of business (Bisley) on my dealer registration.
Lucky it wasn't in Northumbria!
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.
