I emailed the 8 MEPs representing London. Have not even received a automated response. :(

Given the parties they come from I'm not expecting a very positive response anyway.
Who? Me? Really?

I can't see this specific proposal in the EU diary for tomorrow:

I have today emailed the two South East Area MEPs who sit on the Justice & Civil Liberties Committe, Plus Daniel Hannan (Petitions) and Nigel Farage (seems like a decent chap).

Just received a very positive reply from Diane James. I don't want to publish it without her consent but it appears that the MEPs are on our side goodjob .

Our club is on board and we'll put some information on our website and we'll follow this up with an e-mail to all members. We will also provide the contact details so members can send an e-mail to their MEP, which is something I plan to do this evening.

I know this is slightly off topic as it's Jean-Claude Juncker talking about the Schengen agreement being in a state of "comatose" and
warning that the euro will collapse without it. But as I read his his comments I felt like shouting "but that's what your doing with this
stupid firearms policy"

"Please don't get things mixed up. We should not exploit in an absurd manner these tragic events," said Juncker.

Anyway I've written to my MP / MEP and forwarded the petition details to my club Secretary so he can send it to all clubs members.

Likewise.

Sadly, I don't think it will make any difference though....as ever we're an easy target.

Retrospective criminalisation of the people is a scary thing to be ablwe to do.

Making something illegal to own that was LEGALwhen purchased is just stupid - then again it's the UK.

Meanwhile the ruling reime on Scotland wants MORE guns on the streets, in the hands of police officers wallhead wallhead wallhead

Hmm disarm the people, arm the police...now where was that implemented before?
