You are a part-time, unelected Brussels Commissioner and I claim my £5 award for identifying you as such!

I still think this thread is full of paranoia, I cannot see many European states taking this forward so there is little to be worried about. Keep calm and don't panic.

Really? And you TRUST these people do you???? Lessons are never learned in this sport are they. What a great excuse to ban all your guns - terrorists with guns! The public don't CARE what guns terrorists used and neither do politicians. It serves an agenda and you would be foolish to think otherwise.

From a friend in Europe to the inbox:

..............."I'm sending you a petition to sign. The EU want to ban all semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and pistols that look like an automatic weapon, Both centerfire, and rim fire! Make people register deactivated firearms, Ban starter pistols, etc. It may not change anything, but at least they will know how many people in the EU will stand up for there rights. Please sent it to all your shooting friends, and tell them to sign it, and send it to there friends. "

Well, I do and I am afraid past track record proves you're utterly wrong, but

so there is little to be worried about. Keep calm and don't panic
So said all the pistols & revolvers shooters that kept quiet in the corner thinking that they would somehow hang onto their 22Lr pistols but got ultimately shafted ...

Marmite5 with all due respect I was mistaken in thinking all British shooters had learnt their lesson ... :bad:

My MEP is a member of the Labour Party and supporter of Corbyn, it would be a waste of time.

Our NRA seem to be pretty relaxed about it as well but do support signing the European petition: NRA News
