New rifle arrived

After a 5 month wait my new Sauer 404 XT synchro has just arrived.
In 300 wm it is primarily for deer work but I am sure it will make odd visits to the range.
Only issue is that I have a Zeiss scope to put on and the main importer for Sauer hasn't got any of the Zeiss rails for the new 404.
New gun, can't use it yet!!

Is that the one with the aluminium receiver? I have not seen one in the flesh however they seem to be very well thought out.

Looks all good just need a scope rail and then it will certainly be making a visit or two to Oundle

Only reason I have acquired the mount is because someone went to Germany and acquired one from a german dealer. None in the UK.
I am told the importers may be losing the contract in January !!!
Hopefully it will be making its way to the range soon

To answer the supply question
Acquired through my local dealer, John Bradshaw Gunshop, who also acquired the mount for me in Germany.
The 308 mentioned would be cheaper than my 300 because I have paid extra for heavier barrel and also you pay a premium for magnum calibres.
I would imagine that you would be paying around 3200
Bear in mind that the mount is expensive, mine was 460 euros.
