Firearms statistics - criminality, 2014

#1 Post by meles meles »

"The latest figures show there are 5,875 firearms officers in England and Wales, down more than 1,000 from 2009. The number has fallen as demand for their services has declined. Violent crime has fallen significantly and last year armed officers were only required to fire their weapons on two occasions."

From the BBC, so clearly it must be true. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34881198

Obviously our strict gun laws, rigorously and even-handedly applied across the country is working.

The gun monkeys love a good photo shoot, especially if their crayons are out of the way !

I do like the way they have of walking around with their guns pointing in peoples faces.

At least the trigger finger is on the trigger guard. During the post 7/7 'show of police armed force designed to reassure the public', I watched two armed cops walk down a crowded railway station platform both resting fingers on the trigger.
