Magpul grip question

#1 Post by Hunter87 »

Currently I have a Magpul MOE grip on my Ar15 I have been looking at gun porn online and have a question about the MIAD grip now I know you can change the back spacers on it first question is one spacer for an ar15 and the other for an AR10? And if this is the case is the MIAD grip the same dimensions as my MOE looks kind of thinner

I have a MIAD on my BR99 and none of the grip front or back straps was designated/labelled for a specific rifle. There's just S, M & L backstraps and flat or groved front straps.

EDIT: Having looked on the Lantac site it appears it has been updated and there are now two different versions as you say. Just buy the one that best fits your gun. Starting to wonder if i should've had a AR10 version on my BR99 8-)

Never felt the need for the MIAD, the MOE+ feels perfect to me.

You should consider the Ergo Tactical Deluxe.

Same grippy rubber texture as the Hogue ( great when wet or sweaty hands ) but much "fatter" to suit bigger hands.

I tried one and love it. Have one on my AR15 .223 and also my LMT. I will probably put one on my .22 AR too.

When buying online - be careful - some delaers charge for the "tactical deluxe" but send you the thinner item from the same manufacturer.

+1 Don't like the MIAD's, feel cheap and plasticky. MOE+'s are the best.
