Taking into account the VAT element and the type of reamers I am interested in the USA looks like a better bet all though I have no doubt scorpion are a first class outfit and there stuff really looks the business. But for what I am wanting I can get them sent to Florida for pick up in December with free delivery to the UK in January. So that's the way I will go I guess. teanews hmm whats next.

What I will add is it would be good to see people support the UK market and manufacturers instead of saving a few quid buying overseas. Yes if you look at the likes of Manson or PTG in the USA and collect them yourself you can get better prices however there may come a day when Scorpion no longer grind chamber reamers due to lack of interest or support from the home market. What will happen if the Americans will no longer ship to the UK due to export restrictions (It is happening already)

Where will we go then?

To Hell on a Hurley.

The global shopping place is a new phenomenon courtesy of the internet, the first flush of buy anything from anywhere is now over and the intrusive law makers are well on the way to over regulating this.

Anyone who depends on crucial things from the global market place is a fool, and yes this country is a complete fool.
