Variation

#1 Post by Convict_keeper »

Well have decided that I dont really need a .38 as the club has enough and I dont shoot them all that much. Called my FEO this afternoon to see how easy it would be to have it removed and replaced with a 30-06 (have decided to get a Springfield to go along with my Mauser and soon to be purchased No4  ). After he confirmed what it was for he told me to just write him a note and bring it down next week and they will do it there and then.

Wow that was easier than I thought :D

I do envy you, we used to be able to do this once upon a time and then our Firearms department merged with another county and things seem to have gone slightly pear shaped at the moment.

Sounds ideal, my ticket is in for adding the .223 slot for my AR, having sold the .22lr Colt I'm hoping they'll just rubber stamp it and send it back :?

I'll be putting Tayside to the test in a week or two when the 357 is stopped for the 44. Hope it goes as smoothly.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Having a look at a 1903-A3 and No4 on Sunday, Kirk is up at the Arms Fair at the Motorcycle museum on Sunday. Will more than likely be putting a deposit down on them both till the end of the month
