when did I get so cynical??
I do not think that this will be good....remember that movie with Robert Redford (Day of the Condor) when Max Von Sydow was the hit man who did not kill him (spoiler alert) but told him how it would happen.......well this is how it will happen, they will form a liaison committee, invite us common shooting scum (CSS) as well as some great and good, look at several small non-contentious issues and give ground to CSS, showing how reasonable and liaising they are.....THEN, wham ! you fill in the crackpot restriction or draconian demand....and in the press, on telly and in the commons it will be " we were in full consultation with the shooting community, cos we liaise us" .
There will even be some CSS who will sell us out like more notable people have in the past, not to mention national organisations, just for the chance to cosy up to the great and the good or for the prospect of a CBE.
