The "I've got a new gun thread"...

Courtesy of breacher and Phoenix services, may I present "the thing I did to a boring old 10/22"

It's the High Tower Armoury 90/22 stock kit. Very sturdy and solid feeling.

Barrel shortening and a hardy/ Suffolk rifle over barrel moderator to come.

Rifle is currently 27" butt to crown, I need 2 5/8" taking off to mate the base of my whisper over barrel mod to the front of the stock. I'll see how much a hardy/SRC mod needs off.

Contact breacher to order one, took a couple of weeks imported from the states and the service and communication was second to none.

You are lucky you have it - I was tempted to keep it for myself bangbang

Seriously though - that is the first aftermarket 10/22 stock which really made me fancy getting another 10/22.

Be sure to let us know what the trigger is like ( always the weak point on an aftermarket bullpup stock ) as I will be interested to hear if the great reviews over in the US are true................

Yet another of my ex's helpsign
What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

I fitted a plastic bushing over the end of the transfer bar on my HTA stock kit & filed it down to match the trigger profile, much improved the feeling of it. :D
