Cheers Alan,

My dad's after a high end scope for benchrest .22lr - it may be overkill, but if I can get him to get hold of one of these, i may be able to pinch it for long range .308 stuff....

I concur about being a bit OTT :good: but hell if he'll eventually work it out and then give to you, you'd be sorted...lol

Don't think so, can't focus on the zero range targets at Bisley with mine.
Careful now/that sort of thing

Nope. I couldn't focus on the Bisley zero range either.

Have a look around before buying . There are some good discounts to be had. 10% is the norm. David

I'm also pleased with my Sightron S3. I think you will need a 20 moa sight rail for .308 to get you to 1,000 yds.

Some decent prices here,

And as they're in the EU no VAT or import duty to pay :)

I'm almost tempted but off to the US later this year so will get my next one even cheaper over there :)
