A Shield plus mount is not much more. Both used by top level pistol and rifle shooters. Aimpoints etc. are good but not twice the price good.
I got the Burris Fastfire 3 for about the same price.

Top quality - £200 is not peanuts and I would expect an item to work as described at any cost !!
+1. I'm sure when I was looking for a red-dot that sort of money is verging on Docter (EU?) prices.

What's the difference between a holographic and a red dot?
sharps4065 wrote:The Eotech is holographic not red dot. Having a C-More on both a pistol and a rifle and having used a Shield I can assure you they are both entirely parallax free. The Burris is an outstanding red-dot too.
