How Often Do You Shoot?

Just curious as to how often, and how much, you folks habitually shoot over there. Personally, relative to other shooters I know, I'm definitely on the low side of things around here. Over a full year, I probably average maybe 20 visits to my Club, with higher frequency in late August & September just before hunting seasons open. Over the rest of the year I maybe average one time per month or a bit less. On a usual visit, I might hang around for 3 or 4 hours, while firing around 150 rounds (CF pistol indoors in Winter, RF rifle outdoors the other times), and sometimes, typically in the early Fall, 20 or 30 rounds of CF rifle. In September I might fire 20 or 30 shotgun shells just before bird season.

I know some of you folks are pretty dedicated, so, how does that compare with your usual?

I shoot smallbore (25 yards) roughly 5-6 times per month throughout the year, and shoot at county level prone TR.

Unfortunately I barely get out 6 times per year full-bore. mainly competitions these days, and as many practice shoots I can manage throughout the year, however access to the closest range is limited (300y + 600y) hence the low number of shoots.

Looking to increase the number of FB outtings as I'd like to get better, but I need to find a more accessible distance range. Most local palces are only out to 100m/y :(

Fullbore at the moment maybe 2 or 3 times a month on average, plus the occasional meet up with members from here at Severnside.
Smallbore and BP pistol, once, maybe 2 or 3 times a month depending on time allowances, I much prefer 1-600m fullbore shooting so more willing to let the other stuff take a hit time wise.

Small bore at the range once a week .. Hunting once a week (usually)

Looking the list on my FAC that shows ammo purchases and guessstimating what i've got left in my ammo safe (plus a guess at birdshot shotgun ammo) so far this year i've got through;

.22lr 1800
.223 400
.308 20
12b solid slug 450
12b birdshot 3500-4000 (practical shotgun and clays)

They've never had any school shootings here. It's a bummer the range has gone cos the police used it too - which was nice.

Supposedly a new police range being built (interesting as seemingly no one in the country knows what "range specs" are).Hoping we can get to use it if and when it is built.

Typically ill do small bore 3-4 times a month (sometimes more if I'm taking students shooting)
Fullbore I only get to do once a month at best
clays I only end up doing a few times a year, but would shoot more often if I had a car (currently rely on fellow shooters for lifts to ranges, or take the train for smallbore)
