What's the definition of a "lethal barrel"??

"lethal BARRELLED" - that's what it says does it not. It's a description just like "rifled barrel" so what exactly IS a lethal barrel??

The barrel isn't being described as lethal, the gun is being described as both lethal and barrelled. I suppose there really should be a comma between the words.

Hang on a minute, if it in fact doesn't have a barrel, doesn't that mean by UK definition this isn't a firearm .....

First line of 1968 Act;

"In this Act, the expression “firearm” means a lethal BARRELLED weapon of any description from which any shot, bullet or other missile can be discharged"

should the question actually be; where does a barrel change to being a chamber?

Ah but is it! Is it a weapon with a lethal barrel - sounds like it to me I want them to tell us what exactly a "lethal barrel" is becaue I bet there's no definition of one .
