On the subject of 'lethality' and the proposed 1 joule threshold, it may be of interest to note that an adult, throwing a cricket ball can impart an average of 147 joules into the projectile and that same adult swinging a claw hammer at a conservative 10m/s will create a force of over 200 joules.

"Lethal" is yet to be defined in legislation, but has been determined by the courts that the "weapon' must be capable of causing an injury from which death may result. I've had conflicting advice on whether I should or not. I'm sure I don't want to spam the whole thing but I don't know what to write either. What are you writing about Sim? I just need some advice and a starting point. I definitely want to point out that an increase in how long an FAC should last occur. 7-10 years instead of 5 (New Zealand does it so it can be done). Why pump action centerfires should be removed from section 5 and put back into section 1. Those are my first few. Is it a good start?
