Licence printing

#1 Post by bradaz11 »

I know there have been a few posts on here, talking about how the new style black and white printed tickets on green paper look just like standard laser printed stuff....

just thought i'd look at it to see if there are security features on the paper. no uv fibres, but the front of the paper has home office over and over in UV ink.

just thought i'd share

It's a certificate ooman, not a licence. The difference matters.

You have been certified as not being unfit to hold a firearm. You haven't been licensed to shoot or own firearms: that is your right as a fit person. If you had been licensed you would also receive a benefit in return for example a gun, ammunition, ranges to shoot upon and so forth. Think of television. You pay for a licence and receive television programmes in return.

Perhaps they don't understand the law, or choose to ignore it...

Actually, you dont pay for the licence to receive the programmes.

You need the licence to POSSESS an apparatus CAPABLE of receiving the signal. Whether or not you ACTUALLY receive it.

Rofl. Question completely unanswered. Excellent pedantry everyone, most useful.

Personally I remember the lessons given by those people kind enough to teach me what I wanted to learn.

Not the lessons people gave me because that was what they always taught.
