Have you ever had a variation rejected?

As per the post title. This is a bit of private research which I hope to combine with numbers from sending FOI requests to a handful of selected police forces.

I applied to have my ammunition limit of .22RF upped from 2100 to 5100 but got turned down.
The argument that I use a LOT of it at benchrest and want consistency by using the same batch number didn't work.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

Have yet to have a variation refused or amended but will shortly be putting another in for a few more so will let you know if there're any issues

Yes, every time I put in a variation I ask Durham to increase my 22LR allowance from 600, after 4 years it's still not been done.

I had the same thing. I fought my corner and provided results of shooting at county level and the amount of visits to the club and eventually got it overturned...
