I'm not exactly right. A FAC or SGC valid at the date the Act comes into effect serves as an air weapons certificate until it comes up for renewal (if you have both, the later renewal date). Here in The U.K. they've always been Air Guns perhaps sub-divided into Air Rifles & Air Pistols - I don't give a rat's arse what the Fascist SS* Regime at Holyrood calls them.
