Someone we know has had her variation come through this morning. OK it is fair to say the slot is on the Vikings ticket but I for one cannot wait to get my hands on the rifle come Wednesday. It has been a long wait and sadly I have to report that since Bedfordshire merged with Hertfordshire the service has certainly slumped somewhat, in the good old days a variation would have been turned around same week. I guess the guys are still finding their feet and very busy at the moment.

I had better get some cases primed

There is nothing worse than waiting for variations. My ticket went in last week for two, as luck would have it, I've found two I'm after! One of the dealers is no worry, my name's on it and will remain so. The other dealer I've not done business with before. On the face of it, I have no reason to doubt he's an honourable man and he's said my name is on it and near on refused to take a deposit........ should someone come along with the variation in place.........

Got my FAC back this morning.
On Wednesday we will be picking our new toy up. Can't wait.
